The Power of Moises' Hiking Stick at Kelly Ditch Trail
Moises' hiking stick is the wooden Japanese hiking stick I bought at Daiso Japanese store at Mira Mesa. Behrouz who I was hiking up for the first time was quite fascinated with the stick that I told him it felt like a cane.
"Ah, just like the cane of Moises!"
I didn't read the whole posting so I was not expecting much of an elevation gain. I was puffing and huffing like Moises and Hema and Behrouz who was sweeping the hike for stragglers noticed my difficulty. I dreaded to see myself panting like a dog on a photo posted on hike meet up page.
I managed to be ahead fellow stragglers behind Behrouz and Hema and took pictures of the glorious holy shit smiling in the background like he'd just been laid for the first time.
The photo was taken Engineers Road while the group was waiting for Hema to find the trail that will take us to Highway 79 into the Lake Cuyamaca Cafe where we would eat our lunch. I was dreaming of a fish burrito with cilantro salsa.
We tried to impersonate hitch hikers. Motorists at this twisty highway 79 honked at us like we were some retards!
And I hugged a dead tree for the upcoming Dia de Muertos!
