Plucking myself out of Facebook...

Image
Momentarily, that is! The brouhaha over Blackberry and Phone uploads and public lamentations drives me crazy. So here I am back, momentarily that is, uploading a picture of my Lourdes Hibiscus in bloom. Is it ironic that I name my plant after my deceased sister?  The developments on my sister's case have gone complicated and here I am in my hiding place, away from Facebook and unable to hear my youngest sister crying for justice on her Facebook timeline. I find it pathetic for anyone fishing for condolences on social media. Be strong, Fe! Condolences, condolences and more condolences! Those condolences don't mean anything. Her Facebook friends just wanted to know what happened, how my sister died. My brother Jaime posted a video link. The remains of my sister covered in an orange cloth was being carried on a stretcher into a waiting van. I can almost hear my sister Fe bawling and crying for justice. It's numbing! It's nauseating!

Unplucked!

Once there was a seed. Once there was a seed that germinated on a fertile environment. The seed was more than just from an aged bottle gourd. When the bottle gourd was young, it did not dream of aging into a wilted bottle gourd. And this bottle gourd did not intend to hide, either. It was meant to be picked and brought to the market, bought, cooked and eaten.  Once there was an unplucked bottle gourd. Once there was a seed. Once there was a seed that germinated on a fertile environment. Unplucked!
