Meeting Juicy
There she is in the front row. I knew it was the San Diego by Foot meetup group. I wanted to make sure so I asked the female hiker wearing red shorts if it was the right group I was with. I wished Xing signed up for the group but I knew she would be at the Santa Ysabel Preserve hike at the very moment. I should have been with the group hiking to Lawson Peak myself. But it was a morning after and I did not want to go to a strenous hike nor drive 50 miles to Santa Ysabel. I was resigned to joining a group hiking to a location 5 miles west of my home turf. The photo was uploaded by Juicy. The photo reminded me of my attempt to find the waterfall five years ago. I was following the trail and thought I was going further and further with no waterfall signs in sight. Along the way, I made a wrong turn and I ended up making my own trail. Must have been my origins from a watershed. I was born in a rural house built on a farm land located in between a river and a creek. Nobody hears me humming a TLC song to myself. "Don't go chasing waterfall, please stick with the rivers and lakes that you're used to. I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all. But think you're moving too fast. Come on."I found a rock and sat there the whole time the meetup group was at the waterfall area. I was looking for Juicy. She would rather have anyone pronounce her name in the Spanish way: Ho see fee na. She would have been the fifth Jo in her workplace, else she be Juicy. From the trails, I heard more about Geocaching. I have heard about Geocatching from Karlee first. What a coincidence! Juicy works at the middle school where Karlee goes.
